Good News from Council Circle
On June 22, Council Circle was very pleased to recommend Michele Walker to Presbytery as a Candidate for Ministry within the United Church of Canada.
Michelle has participated in a Discernment process with a committee for several months, and has made the decision to begin her studies towards formal ministry.  We are thrilled to support Michele as she begins this new step in her Christian journey.

Also, at Council Circle, Diane Stuart was supported in her intention to pursue the Licensed Lay Worship program – a two year course offered by Kamloops-Okanagan Presbytery.

IT’S SUMMER! Let’s Wear Our Name Tags!
We all find it helpful when everyone wears their name tag!  It helps avoid that awkward pause “I’ve forgotten your name”!  During the summer, it’s especially important, as there are visitors with us.  If you have lost yours, or don’t yet have one, it’s easy to solve that.
Contact Mona Banek at the Welcome Table on Sundays at coffee time, or call the church office 250-372-3020 and we’ll make one for you.  You can look for it on the name tag board in the foyer.
