Baptism, Renewal of Baptismal Faith and Transfer
of Membership on April 27
The Sacrament of Baptism, the Renewal of Baptismal
Faith (Confirmation) and Transfers of Membership will be offered at
K.U.C. on Sunday April 27th.
It is through baptism and the renewal of baptismal
faith that children, youth or adults may become members of the
United Church of Canada and the congregation of K.U.C. Prior to
April 27th, we will be holding one or more sessions (depending on
response) to explore the meaning of church membership and the
sacrament of baptism and the rite of renewal. Session date(s) will
depend on the availability of participants. If you are already a
member of another United Church and would like to transfer your
membership
to K.U.C. we will be receiving new members on
April 27th as well.
If you are interested in baptism, renewal of faith
or transfer of membership please contact Rev. Bruce Comrie by April
8.

Music Leader Search

Kamloops United Church is looking for a music
leader who is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, possesses a sense of
humour, knows many facets and styles of music, and is a team player
willing to work with clergy and worship team, choir members, youth,
and congregation. We are a spirit-led, open, friendly, inclusive
congregation located in the down-town area. The successful candidate
will be a competent musician, comfortable with different styles of
music (traditional and contemporary) and instrumentation (primarily
piano, but organ as well). We need someone who can inspire us with
his or her energy and who will enjoy utilizing the talents of our
congregation. If you feel called to this ministry, applications or
questions may be directed to Kamloops United Church,
Attention: Music Leader Search Committee, 421 St.
Paul Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2J7.
